Obtaining Smart Card Credentials for the Amaroo Event
General Information for All Attendees
You can register for Amaroo without having a Smart Card, but please apply for one after you have registered, using the instructions below.
How to Apply for a Western Smart Card if you've never had one
Go to http://apply.smartcardadmin.org. Click on the 'New to this site?' banner at the top of the email authentication page or the "About this site" link on any other page for instructions on how to set up a profile. Create your challenge questions. You will then be redirected to your dashboard. Click the 'Apply for a Smart Card for yourself' button. Indicate that you've never had a smart card and proceed to fill out the application form and submit it.
Producing the physical cards is currently very slow. You will probably not receive your card before Amaroo. This is not a problem. When your application has been verified, you will receive an email with your smart card credentials. The Amaroo team will also be notified and will update your booking. If you haven't received your credentials email after three weeks, use the Contact Us link at the bottom of the Smart Card site page to contact the Smart Card help desk.
